Workshops and Guest Lectures

IMS College believes in providing tremendous support to students through different workshops,seminars and guest lectures. Experts from different backgrounds are frequently invited to share their experiences, knowledge and skills with our students. Getting involved in these workshops, students develop their social and interpersonal skills. The purpose of these workshops and guest lectures is to inspire students to further explore it on their own. Students become familiar with the real world and build new relationships,establish connections with like-minded people. These interactive sessions help students to deal with the real world effortlessly.

Tours and Recreations

National tours are organized by the IMS college where students travel to different places of Nepal. Nepal on its own is a country surrounded by high mountains and beautiful rivers. Also it is a place where different cultures and languages exist. Students at IMS get a chance to explore these places and get to know every culture and tradition existing in the country. Along with these tours, students are also taken to different educational excursions, industries, organizations and are informed about the structures of organizations. This will help the students adapt to the real world.

Sports

IMS promotes sports through different indoor and outdoor sport activities. We thrive to support the best elements of competition, instruction, and recreation by providing the opportunity for all students to participate and excel in a team setting. We organize sports week and motivate students to participate in different college level competitions organized by various organizations.

IMS Event Management Club

The IMS event management club is involved in planning and organizing the college events and will act as a liaison between the college administration and students. The club consists of Class representatives from each section as members and members will select president, vice president, secretary and treasurer for the club.

IMS Cultural Club

IMS Cultural club is responsible for all the cultural events in the Institute around the year. IMS cultural club strives to bring out the hidden talent of the students of the college. It is the place where students can showcase what they have got. Every year this club celebrates festivals such as Dashain, Tihar, Holi, Gurupurnima, Saraswati Puja which creates a vibrant atmosphere.

IMS IT Club

The Information Technology (IT) Club provides students with opportunities to discuss various IT issues outside the classroom in order to create a greater appreciation for and understanding of technology. Students plan field trips, guest lectures, and special events during the year. In addition to their own education, IT Club members strive to educate the masses on the use of technology.

IMS Entrepreneurship club

IMS Entrepreneurship club seeks to support the students’ creativity in line with its future’s vision of developing the entrepreneurship areas among students. Students in the club will participate in the development of a business, at minimum by working on a business plan, but ideally also by being part of implementing a start-up. Different Entrepreneurship teams are created around different start-up ideas, and experienced entrepreneurs from the business community mentor the teams, along with University faculty advisors.
