Bachelor of Information Management (BIM) program provides a unique opportunity to students interested in interdisciplinary education in Information and Communication Technology and Management. Students with a passion for IT and an aptitude for data analysis will do well in this program.
The program provides students with the knowledge and skills to develop business information systems, analyze and design databases, develop network/Internet applications, and have a sound understanding of the business processes. BIM will also provide students with knowledge and understanding of the principles and operations of the business, and the importance of the computer as a management tool through planning, control, and decision-making activities of the organization.
BIM program is in the semester system which demands continuous learning, consistent study habit, and the ability to work in a team.

The main aim of Bachelor in Information Management (BIM) program is to impart education in information technology (IT) which prepares the youond minds to face the challenges posed by the increasing pace of IT and Management both nationally and internationally. Admission Criteria
The candidates applying for the BIM program must have completed twelve years of schooling or its equivalent from any recognized board or university with a minimum 50% score in the aggregate. They will be required to appear in the entrance test conducted by the Faculty of Management, T.U. and secure a minimum of 40% to qualify for an interview. The final selection for admission will be made after the interview.
In order to pass the semester examination, the student must secure a minimum of grade ‘C’ or the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0.

IMS feels proud in helping aspiring candidates through a financial aid Scholarship program.
IMS offers a range of scholarships to any deserving and needy students on the basis of his/her academic merit and other criteria as prescribed by the IMS. Other criteria at the discretion of the board on recommendation by the Principal are scheduled caste, backward community, economically deprived, and Dalits. Scholarship exempts only Tuition Fee and is awarded for a term/semester which may be renewed by the Scholarship Committee on the basis of academic performance, discipline, and general conduct of the student and his/her participation in ECA and other College activities.
Periodical (termwise/semester-wise) scholarship reviews are conducted to ensure better performance on academics and other activities. On the basis of such reviews, better-performing students are reprimanded. Class Tests and Term/Semester Tests results are absolute indicators for determining the scale of the academic performance of the students of which regular records are maintained along with other activities of the students.
